Protecting Children As a husband and father, Eric Zahnd knows how important it is to protect our children. Platte County’s Cyber Crimes Unit is one of the first in Missouri to hunt down and prosecute Internet predators. In 2003, Eric personally obtained a 25-year sentence against a man who abused a 4-year-old girl and sent photos of his crime over the Internet.
